How the process works
1. Place your order
Placing an order on this page (above) for our configurable vault doors is the fastest way to get on the production schedule.

2. Review shop drawings
Before we manufacture your door you’ll receive detailed shop drawings for your modification or approval.
Also, at this point our product specialist will help you to finalize dimensions, door handles, hardware, color, and door handing.
3. Manufacture & Installation
In 8-10 weeks your personalized vault door is ready, and will begin shipment to your house.
The door ships pre-assembled so final installation can be done by a local contractor. Installation is similar to a standard residential door.
Installation Instructions
Shop Drawings
Prior to production, a full set of shop drawings are created for your review. During this phase we will also be in touch with you to finalize the details of your door, for example confirming the rough opening of your doorway.
We recommend having the contractor who will install the door also confirm the measurements of the rough opening. We can advise on what they need to measure.

Installation
A contractor experienced with installing standard doors and windows generally has more than enough skills to install our doors as well. The door is pre-hung: hinges and lock installed, handle attached, etc.
However, our vault doors are very heavy. During installation make sure to have a few people to help move and hang the door. Carefully installing the frame level, square and plumb is most important.
